So, I finally finished it.
THE NATEWAY. My new home/website.

I think the design leaves enough to be desired. I probably will install a 'blog' link in there and just do a web log in there. Not sure if I plan to post links I like, content, thoughts, etc. In any case, "EVERY SITE HAS A BLOG, LOL" is true. Maybe I'll install SilverStripe there? Eh.

HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY NEW WEBSITE ABOVE?

Yes, please leave comments. If you're using IE7 or IE 8 beta, let me know, too.

Very cute. I like the hint of plaid at the beginning & then it's crazy plaid. I love plaid... & paisleys...

Really? You like the plaid? :3 It's my favorite shirt's pattern, so I've tried to trademark it everywhere (but on my actual avatar at the site. :p ).

It looks really good when it's done right.

This's kinda the thing I'd intend to show to potential employers... that's why I made that post yesterday about how I'm worried about the separation between my RL and my online names. :/ Don't want an employer to say, "Your resume checks out, but we don't hire furfags." :/ ESpecially since I draw weird-ass stuff.

It's awfully depressing- a few days ago, somebody said they could blow up my career/job. It was like a punch in the gut, so I've considered a rift...

I wanted to provide a 'hidden' version, with those icons, but I'm going to hold off on them for awhile. :s

Thanks for the question, Wolfen. :3 <3

Ahh, ok I got confused.
Yah. I wouldn't link FA to any employers, of course I wouldn't put my myspace up there either DX

Very true... I should give all my profiles a proofreading just for my own publicity :s Don't want "hey hot chicks" in any profile of mine 8)

IT IS EVERYTHING NATHANISH

That being said, I had no idea you had all of these other accounts ^_^; The center image looks as if you are inviting the viewers to experience what you have to offer! Work on that resume too ^w^

I like the concept and I think the design is cute :) the plaid is a bit too strong for me though, kind of hurts my eyes trying to look at all of the icons but also having that strong plaid pattern compete. For me, I think it would work better if the overlay covering the plaid was a bit stronger.

I do really like though how the images all become solid when you hover over them (for all of the social networking sites). The concept is very cute though and I like it, with you in the center showing off all of your profiles.

Hey, thanks for your opinion. I appreciate that a webdesigner got a look at this 8)

I agree, I was afraid the plaid'd be too strong. I wasn't sure how to get it to be sufferable. :o I figured I wouldn't have much of a compromise.

In any case, making the background more opaque won't be such a headache. I'll try it out and see how it looks. ALyson helped me pick the color, so I hope the color looks better while being thicker. :)

Downside about the transparencies-- it's hell in IE6 since it's all PNGs, and the PNGs are background images.. so I need PNG behavior AND the Javascript. What headaches!! T__T And in IE6 the icons won't activate... sigh.

Thanks for your opinion! :3

omg... PNGs in IE6... I don't even want to think about it. Gave me the biggest headache EVER and I still haven't found an IE6 png hack/fix that I like yet :( ffffffff
